S. Ashraf Ahmed

Obtained MSc in Biochemistry from Dhaka University in 1974 and PhD in Microbial Biochemistry from Kyoto University in 1983. After a 3 year Post-Doctoral research at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland, served as a Research Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. Currently Research Advisor of the Associateship Program of the National Research Council, a component of the National Academy of Sciences, USA. Area of expertise includes Enzyme structure and function, protein toxin, assay development.
