Aims and Scope
Bioresearch Communications (BRC) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal, which considers articles on all areas of Biology and Medicine.
The purpose of Bioresearch Communications (BRC) is to publish original research studies directly relevant to Biochemistry at all levels. Specific areas of interest include but are not limited to Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Translational Medicine, Epidemiology, Veterinary Microbiology, Forensic Science, Food and Nutrition, Plant Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, Fisheries, Environmental Biochemistry, Environmental Microbiology, etc. BRC publishes Research Articles, Editorials, Commentaries, Reviews, Case reports, etc.
Authors may contact the Editor-in-Chief in advance to inquire about whether their research topic is suitable for consideration by BRC.
Peer Review Process
The Editorial Board of BRC, representing experts from different parts of the world with different expertise, ensures an efficient peer review process and high quality in publication.
Manuscripts are sent out for review electronically, and all correspondence takes place via e-mail. The peer review process is accelerated by the use of electronic communication.
Bioresearch Communications (BRC) is a double-blind peer-reviewed so as to ensure high-quality scientific publications. Authors are not told who reviewed their paper. The peer referees identity remains unknown to the authors throughout the review process.
Presently there are two issues of BRC per year (January and July). All articles will be assigned a DOI number (Digital Object Identifier, Issued by Crossref) whereby they become searchable and citeable without delay.
This journal utilizes the PKP PN system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for the purposes of preservation and restoration.
In addition, all files will be archived with Bangladesh Journals Online (BanglaJOL)
