Brief CV: Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar is a versatile author and an academician. He earned his Ph.D. and post-doctoral expepost-doctoral Tokyo Metropolitan University and the United Nation University respectively. He has vast experience of organizing scientific conferences and symposia in the home and abroad. He has been serving as an editorial board member in many reputed international journals. Dr Shekhar has experience of publishing around hundreds of papers in peer- reviewed journals. His book on functional food was published in Germany and two edited books were published from the USA. In 2019 he acted as lead guest editor of of a special issue of BioMed Research International (https://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/si/761489/) . He is the active member of Asian Council of Science Editors. Asian Council of Science Editors is the first and the foremost organization in Asia that was developed with the aim to provide a unified and active platform for Asian editors and scholars where they can understand about their editorial problems, learn about the solutions and devotedly take up the future challenges to enhance the quality of Asian Scientific and Scholarly publications.

Brief CV: Haseena Khan is a Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Dhaka. She has served in the first National Executive Committee on Biotechnology, (2004-2006). She has helped in the development of National Biotechnology Guidelines. She is a member of the Board of Governors, National Institute of Biotechnology, member of Forensic DNA Laboratory Advisory Council (2016-) and a member of the National Technical Committee on Biotechnology (2016 – till date). She has served on the Board of Studies (2016 – 2018), Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, South Asian University New Delhi, India where she had earlier worked as a Visiting Professor for one year. Professor Khan is a Fellow of the Bangladesh Academy of Science and a Fellow of The World Academy of Science. She has been awarded the Bangladesh Academy of Science-M.O. Ghani Memorial Gold Medal in 2011 and the Kazi Mahbubullah Gold Medal in 2015 and Moni Singh - Farhad Memorial Trust Award, 2016. She was been awarded the Independence Day Award, 2019. She has many publications to her credit.
